I have a client who does Tai Chi and gets regular massages...  I am including this great read because I  know he will enjoy it.

Massage therapy is more important than just manipulating the muscles... more and more research is showing the benefits of different types of tissue manipulation.  I love this article...

I first came across emotional release when I was right out of massage school many years ago.  I was working in a doctors office and had a patient with severe back pain.  He had many therapists before me but for some reason I was able to work on him and he busted out in tears... I had never seen this before but we are taught in class this can happen.  He apologized but it made me proud to be able to help him break through.  Here is a well written article on this subject:
