Emotional Release with Massage

Read Now

I first came across emotional release when I was right out of massage school many years ago.  I was working in a doctors office and had a patient with severe back pain.  He had many therapists before me but for some reason I was able to work on him and he busted out in tears... I had never seen this before but we are taught in class this can happen.  He apologized but it made me proud to be able to help him break through.  Here is a well written article on this subject:

The Power of Touch in Hospice

Read Now

As I said before, I had a relative with cancer and was afraid to touch them for fear of it spreading... I had this thought because this is all I knew.  But even when she was dying and massage could have made her feel better I was still too afraid to touch her... If only I had really understood the power of touch then...  now I have a different view. I read this article and wanted to share it:

Massage For The Elderly

Read Now

I remember when I was a little girl I was afraid of the elderly...  not because of anything that happened to me but because I did not understand them, why did they ask me my name over and over again?  As I grew older myself and had older parents I began to understand that the elderly have so much wisdom and experiences to share and I found myself gravitated to them to learn all I could.  With that said, I learned that they have many needs as they grow older... massage and exercise is one of them.  Here is a cute article I found talking about massaging the elderly... there are many benefits.

It is reported that Bob Hope got a massage everyday and lived to be over 100!

I have been massaging for many years and have massaged at many companies.  I love going to work because everyone is so happy to see me and I help people with stress and pain of over use syndrome. I will be adding a lot of articles as the years go along about massage in the work place... there is no downside.  Please enjoy this article I read...
